Vedic Astrology: Books by Howard Beckman

Howard Beckman (aka Hamsavatar das) describes himself as an American, born & raised in Philadelphia. He attended Temple University, where he studied Philosophy & Religion. Travelling often to India, he was drawn to the Vedas, in particular astrology & mysticism, eventually meeting his spiritual master, who trained him in Bhakti-yoga (the yoga of love). He spent a further five years in Thailand, studying the science of gems & their healing powers. Returning to the US, he obtained a degree as a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. Currently, he lives outside Santa Fe, NM, where he teaches, writes & lectures. This book, Vibrational Healing with Gems, more completely encompasses the whole science of gem therapy. This is by far the most comprehensive - and original - book on gems that I have seen. Includes Beckman's experiences combining gem therapy with electronic instruments in a clinical setting, which shows great promise. Includes detailed notes on gemstones for specific planets/houses/ascendants, the most comprehensive anywhere. Balaji Publishing, hardcover, 194 pages.
