Back of card: Maroon with thin gold circles. The backs are labeled, "Planets", "Signs" & "Houses", so you can put them in separate piles. No point in inverting.

Book included: Yes, 96 pages, 4.95 x 6.75 inches, or 126 x 177 mm. Cards are illustrated in black & white. Book also includes the basics of planets, signs & houses, gives sample readings, etc.

Comments: As noted above, this is not a tarot deck, it's 12 cards for planets, 12 for signs & 12 for houses, a total of 36 cards. Mercifully the author has a fair sense of houses & doesn't simply parrot signs on top of them. To use the cards, think of a question, mix the cards & set them in 3 piles, one for planets, one for signs & one for houses. Draw one of each & read the result in light of your question. If your astrology is weak, use the keywords. As there's only 36 cards, we show four only. Packaging leaves a bit to be desired. You will end up with a book on one hand, and on the other a deck of cards with an optional (accessory not included) rubber band around them. Workable.

Someone else reduced this concept to 3 twelve-sided dice, known as Astro-Dice. Think of a question, throw the dice, read the answer. I had great fun with these a decade ago in New York but it does take a "knack". Astro-Dice are still available, price is $25 (same then as now), which is too much. Some folks in England have produced a cheaper knock-off. Anybody interested, I can get one or the other.
